And why are they really here?

A “silent partner” website,  (http://www.gulencharterschools.weebly.com)  has some incredible information on the “Gulen Charter Schools,” or as we are so fond of calling them, “Gulen-inspired" charter schools, and has provided some fascinating information on some of the guys running the schools.

As one might recall, the guys are consistently denying any type of affiliation with Gulen and yet, the evidence of their association clearly speaks for itself.

There’s a bit of information that we would like to add to their distinguished list of credentials. For instance, the guy – “Steve” Gulkensen was (or may still be) the regional Tuzuk money collector for the Midwest region. And his cohort, Serdar Jovadov (a.k.a. Serdar Jawadov), is the business manager at Horizon Denison, which means he is the Tuzuk collector for the Denison school (who it turn gives the money over to the regional guy, who may or may not be Gulkensen at this time)—did we lose anyone here?

It’s pretty easy to remember – just look for the Turkish or Turkmenistan guy that’s running the business office and he will also be the guy keeping the second set of books with the Tuzuk monies.

But the real prize is Huseyin Kara, he’s the guy that threatened the Turkish guy when he found out that he (the Turkish guy) had married an American woman and had told her about the “organization’s activities.”

Kara’s quite the guy – quite the leader -- as busy as he was; he managed to find the time to make a special trip from Chicago to Cleveland to warn the Turkish guy about what happens to a “Gulenite” that wanders away from the Gulen fold, especially when he wander offs with a non-Muslim American woman.

And just for kicks we want to throw in this guy: Hasan Ali Yurtsever (a.k.a. Hassan Ali Yurtsever, a.k.a. H. Ali Yurtsever,  a.k.a.Ali Yurtsever). What’s the deal with all the aliases – does he have a spelling problem, an identity issue, or is he hiding something (like that’s a stretch)? Hey, guy, if you’re going to change your name so often, at least change it to something we can pronounce.

Concept Schools manages 19 publicly-funded Gulen charter schools that are currently operational, including the chain of Horizon Science Academy schools, Chicago Math and Science Academy, the Noble Academy schools in Cleveland and Columbus, Indiana Math and Science Academy, and Michigan Math and Science Academy.  New schools are planned.Concept Schools is connected to Niagara Educational Services, of which both the Science Academy of Chicago (SAC) and the Niagara Foundation are subsidiaries.  The Niagara Foundation is an openly Gulenist organization, as can be clearly seen from its website (Fethullah Gulen is its honorary president).  The connections of Concept and Horizon to Niagara and SAC are demonstrated by the fact that the domain registration information for the Science Academy of Chicago website, saoc.org, gives registrant email as info@conceptschools.org.  Further financial connections have been documented on this webpage. More connections are shown by the following individuals who have multiple affiliations across Gulenist schools and organizations:
