Over three years ago, a group of federal officials raided 19 Concept Schools’ charter school locations in Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana – gathering evidence of illegal activity perpetrated by the Turkish – Gulenist administrators running the United States’ tax-funded schools.
To date – we are still waiting for the arrests to begin.
For the past 8 years I have been briefing the taxpayers on the shenanigans that this religious cult has been cultivating while using our tax dollars. And for 8 years I have been patiently waiting for the federal agencies (ICE, Department of Education – federal and state levels, the FBI, and the IRS) to actually intervene and shut these guys down – once and for all. I am not a patient person, it’s never been one of my virtues, and as such – my tolerance is wearing painfully thin.
Okay, I get that the feds have to sift through droves of evidence before they can issue arrest warrants, but how much longer do we – the taxpayers – have to endure these criminals and their duplicitous acts before we actually get to see them sitting behind jail bars?
The Turkish government has recently issued an arrest warrant for the cult leader, Fethullah Gulen, who sits peacefully in the countryside of a palatial estate in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania (protected by his army of guards). It took less than a year for the Turks to indict Gulen after alleging that he was plotting to overthrow President’s Erdogan’s government through his orchestrated “terroristic” acts. And yet, the United States’ government is still working at a slug’s pace to both uncover and arrest this alleged terrorist and his merry band of thieves.
What motivation do the United States’ federal agencies need to pull the lead out of their collective asses and actually move forward? When will the United States extradite Gulen to face the charges in Turkey? And finally – when will the United States return our 145 tax-funded charter schools that Gulen’s criminal cronies have been operating (at our expense) for over 16 years?
Indeed – when is enough is enough?

The 30 (updated) Horizon Science Academies/Noble Academies charter schools in Ohio and the other 130 or so sister charters in other states are a part of the worldwide social/economic/religious/political movement headed by Fethullah Gulen, the Turkish Islamic cleric living in exile in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. The mission of the Gulen movement should spike the interest of all U.S. citizens in as much as the Gulen charters are tax-funded.
The Gulenists have set up a parallel governance structure in Turkey which is causing significant political unrest. The Turkish government has issued a warrant for the arrest of Fethullah Gulen. Previously Turkey had requested the U. S. Government to extradite him.
The Gulenist's attempt to undo the Turkish government is a complicated matter and has serious implications for U. S. -Turkish relations. On one front, U. S. citizens should be seeking answers to why 150 Gulen charter schools are being operated in the United States. What is the motivation? Is it because U. S. educators don't have the talent and interest in providing appropriate educational opportunities? Is it to promote cultural diversity? Is it to promote the Gulen movement?
The Gulen charter school industry in the United States has set up a parallel social/economic structure. Turkish teachers by the thousands have been brought to the U. S. to staff these charters. Typically, Turkish men comprise the charter school boards and Turkish companies are formed to do business with the U. S. taxpayer-funded Gulen charters.
Citizens should research the Gulen movement to get answers to pertinent questions. Reading some articles published in the Daily Sabah might be a place to start.
At the very least the sponsors of the Gulen charters in Ohio-Buckeye Community Hope Foundation and the ESC of Lake Erie West-should investigate the rationale for these charters to be in operation in Ohio.
