Well, it took long enough -- but kudos to the feds for finally being able to ferret out some alleged "borderline" criminal activity and recapture some of the ill-gotten gains from that operation.
What is truly baffling is that if Concept Schools agreed to pay 4.5 million, but the disclaimer in the press release states, "The claims resolved by the settlement are allegations only, and there has been no determination of liability."
It only stands to reason that if they are not liable for an action, then why would they pay; unless of course they have a ton of loose cash sitting around the schools that they want to donate back to US taxpayers.
