And this guy is running the school?
Check out all of the syntax, spelling, and grammatical errors in the "Director's" letter to teachers, parents, and students. With all the money that the Turks are raking in, one would think that they could hire someone to edit their work before they send it out to the parents.
Perhaps they are spending the money on baklava instead...
And thanks to the Harmony Science Academy teacher that sent this to us.

Dear Harmony Public School Families,
We are so excited to have begun a new school year, providing opportunities in every classroom for your child to reach and exceed their greatest expectations. A new school year is always exciting especially this year as we remodeled our schools and built the forth campus. I am sure Harmony School of Nature & Athletics will be the unique school in nationwide where technology, nature and sport are integrated. Euless and Grand Prairie campus have been remodeled and they look completely different. Our staff members were very busy this summer to get the schools ready.
2009-2010 TAKS test results have been released this summer and Texas Education Agency ( TEA) has announced that all our schools are rated EXEMPLARY. I want to thank to all staff and students who made this possible. I also want to thank to our parents for their support. We do make difference in the lives of students and I think that these students will make our community a better place to live.
As you know that Harmony is a college prep public school, we are offering classes that create a challenging atmosphere in school. Students are encouraged and prepared for a 4- year college of their choice. We are partnering with UT Arlington & Lamar University and offer Dual Credit courses. There is an increasing trend in the number of students who are taking AP classes, SAT tutorials and dual credit courses each year. AP and SAT passing rates are also increasing. We want our parents to involve in every step while their child is going to college. Please show your support by motivating your child to attend these classes and maintain high grades.
It is our intent to deliver the very best instructional program possible to our students. Our curriculum is aligned with state standards and offers a variety of enrichment opportunities. Most classrooms are equipped with technology used to enhance instruction. Staff members have spent time incorporating Smart boards, clickers, and document cameras into instruction, activities and assessments. Our work will continue next year in our quest to equip more classrooms.
As our mission states, we are dedicated to prepare each student for higher learning in a safe, caring and collaborative atmosphere through a quality learner-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on math, science, engineering and technology. Our school has a reputation for innovation, dedication and excellence. We have a highly qualified and progressive teaching staff that is committed to providing our students with relevant and rigorous instruction. I can assure you that our staff will do their best for all students to be the best of their own potential.
As we begin this year, please remember that this is your school as well and we welcome all parents' involvement. Administrators, teachers, and school staff view you as the most important partner in our work to prepare students for college and beyond. Your cooperation and involvement is greatly appreciated so that we can provide your child with the best education possible. Please take your time to talk with your children about their school rules and regulations. Your interest and concern in their school progress will motivate them to do their best. Contact with your child’s teachers and other staff members to establish a successful home/school connection. And also remember that our staff may visit you at home to be able to listen to your concerns.
I take this opportunity to thank one more time our staff and families for all the good efforts and hard work. I hope that your family has enjoyed the summer! And I wish that your children will have a great school year.
Best wishes,
Nihat Bayhat
