Fetullah Gulen has died.
What will become of the 140 plus United States funded charter schools that he systematically siphoned funds from to support his terrorist activities?
Will the United States powers that be -- stop protecting these shysters once and for all?
The US government has been shielding Gulen and his nefarious organization for over 25 years -- and the essential question is why? What critical CIA intelligence has Gulen been providing that was so important that it put our own country, schools, teachers, and students at risk?
Time and time again the US authorities have been handed plates of evidence to prosecute Gulen and his followers, and instead, the organization was rewarded with more public funds, and a blatant refusal to extradite Gulen back to Turkey to face criminal charges for the 2016 failed Turkish coup.
Our US politicians lined their pockets with free trips to Turkey, campaign contributions, and likely -- unknown cash rewards. All the while, the organization continued to take hold of the US educational system, knowing that the pot of gold was waiting at the doors of the US public charter school system.
Since 2008, many US citizens, myself included, have fought to expose the criminal activities of the Gulen organization. It is highly unlikely that Gulen's death will put an end to the organization and its foothold in the US.
Sometimes the enemy is at your front door, you look through the peephole, decide that the person is safe, and naively open the door to a world of danger and deception.
The US government purposedly blocked that peephole over 25 years ago so that we could not see the diabolical Gulen organization standing on the other side of the threshold waiting to pounce.
Likewise, like a horse forced to wear blinders, US citizens have been directed to only look forward -- ahead, ignoring the reality and side-views of crooked US politicians and government agencies that conveniently overlook the pillaging of our public school funds via that Gulen organization.
How many administrations will continue to ignore this criminal organization at the cost of US taxpayers, teachers, and students?
A fundamental question is never asked of our presidential candidates. "If elected, what are you going to do about the Gulen organization in the United States?"
Guaranteed -- their respective looks will be like a horse wearing blinders, and their responses will be "neigh."
