And now we know why
We could not figure out why there were so many Turkish guys/gals working at the Oklahoma - - "Gulen-inspired" schools until we found out that you do not have to have a teaching license to teach at a charter school in Oklahoma!
Well that explains why from a list of 83 teachers at the Gulen schools, 38% were Turkish/foreign teachers in a state where the unemployment rate just hit 7%.
38%!
Oklahoma may want to reconsider its teaching licensure requirements/laws or just hand the keys to the Oklahoma Department of Education over to Gulen and his cronies, because it appears that they are getting the upper hand on the educational system in Oklahoma.
Or better yet, just post some of Gulen's boys in an ancilliary office at the United States Immigration and Natualization offices so that they can help expedite the H1-B visa process and take all of the American teaching jobs in Oklahoma.
