But who is getting the better deal?
It seems that some of our politicians, former President Clinton, and an FBI agent have an affinity for Turkish pottery, compliments of Gulen-related affiliations.
Hey, that's okay --we like pottery too. But what we do not like is the fact that in exchange for "plates," the Turkish guys are getting charter schools, and by proxy -- American teaching jobs, paid with American tax dollars.
We would like to suggest that perhaps the politicians look beyond the hand-painted designs for the boys' true agenda, which is to continue to bilk the taxpayers out of millions of dollars.
And might we also suggest that if our politicians are so intent on accepting "plates" and other pottery related items, that they might want to look at some American made brands -- we hear that Fiestaware has some pretty decent deals and does not involve the exploitation of American teachers, parents, and students.
Below are some photos of our American politicians accepting their gifts.
