Creepy Camping Chronicles
Update on July 12, 2010 -- The boys must have gotten a little nervous over their "Turkish Camp Photo Album," because they removed the webpage from their school website after we published its existence on this website. Looks like they might have figured out how really creepy their actions were..., or maybe their boss Gulen told them to take it down. Whatever the reason may be, at least it's nice to know that the boys are still reading our website.
I guess the guys forgot to take down one of their webpages about school-related Turkish activities (it's been rumored that the guys have been ordered to delete any references to any Turk-a-thon -related school events). Check out the following link to see photos of a "Turkish camp" (as they have titled it), at one of the Cleveland Horizon (Gulen) schools. http://www.hsacms.org/picture_library/turkish_camp/index.html.
Frankly, we find it to be a little creepy to say the least. Why is it called Turkish camp, and why are the boys camping out with Turkish guys? Likewise, we find it very odd that they felt the need to photograph the children while they were sleeping.
Hey! parents, do you really think it is normal behavior for teachers (Turkish or otherwise) to be "camping" out with your kids and photgraphing them while they sleep? And why would you allow your children to go anywhere with these guys?
But then again, that is what the "guys" bank on -- the fact that the parents will not get too up close and personal and find out what is really going on behind the Gulen-papered doors.
Here's the real deal -- it's not normal for a bunch of single guys to take a group of adolescent boys on "Turkish" camping trips and photograph their every move. It's weird, bizarre, and just plain creepy.
