Just follow the money trail
There are still some skeptics out there that think that the Gulen-inspired charter schools are barely making ends meet (just ask Ali, he has budget woes), and that they are just innocuous little non-profits struggling to survive. Further, those same skeptics refuse to believe that these schools are being funded by both state and federal funding, and that the public does not have the right to know where their tax dollars are being spent.
Well, one of our partner sites has done some very careful research and has followed the money trail as far as the federal funding goes (we have yet to figure out where the money goes once it lands in the Tuzuk pot of gold).
Here's a website link that is extremely informative, and again -- after reviewing the funding information -- begs the question -- where's all the money going? Could it be that the money is helping to fund all the immigration scams and graduate degrees for the Turkish administrators? Is the money going towards all of the expensive attorney fees? The only thing we are certain of -- it's not going to the teachers.
And check out Ohio and California, it looks like they hit the federal jackpot!
