Are You Kidding Me?
This website has been receiving some feedback about its contents, and we just want to clear up a few items of "concern."
Let's be clear about one thing -- this website was not published by a "Hate group, a fired American Utah Board Member (who by the way had the guts to come forward), or people that just plain hate Turks and/or Islam" -- as was alleged by some of the respondents.
The website's purpose from its inception, and as it continues, is to expose corruption in 120 plus charter schools in the United States that are being run by Turkish nationals -- plain and simple.
It's about money-laundering, violating United States EEOC and immigration laws, all the while using federal and state funding to do so. Remember, that is the money that is supposed to be used for education and is instead being used to pay visa fees and Tuzuk monies, and fund other nefarious activities.
And you can whine all day long about us not having evidence and that the information provided on this website is "manufactured or fictional," but the fact remains, it is true and it can be documented.
Yes, we will agree with you on one count -- that is is simply incredulous that they have been able to pull this ruse for over 12 years, and that our government has not stopped them -- yet.
So take a break from all that free baklava they are feeding you and ask yourself a few pertinent questions --
1)Why is there a majority of Turkish men running the schools (Directors, Assistant Directors, Deans of Academics, and Business Office Managers), instead of US educators and administrators?
2) Why are the majority (90%) of the school board members in all of the 120 plus schools Turkish and/or men.
3) How is it that with the unemployment rate as high as it is, that these charter schools cannot find "qualified" American teachers and administrators and instead have to sponsor so many foreign visa holders to teach in the United States?
4) Gee, how do you suppose all of the different stories and reports on this website keep cropping up from different parts of the country? Do you really believe that one "disgruntled" employee is that omniscient and powerful?
5) Do you think that maybe -- just maybe -- this all might be true and that the reason they do bring in so many foreign (the majority Turkish) teachers in is because they are in fact getting up to 40% of their salaries, all of their tax returns, and teacher's retirement funds; and that is a pretty solid investment on their part?
So here's our advice, get a grip, step away from the baklava, and take a reality check. Because, guess what -- it is happening and yes, we have allowed it to happen in our own backyard, and shame on us. But shame on us for being so naive that you cannot believe it is possible and instead, want to chalk it all up to a "hate propaganda."
Isn't that the same mentality the world had when the Nazi's exterminated millions of Jews, witnessed the Armenian genocide, or the ongoing Syrian slaughter of thousands of Syrian citizens, --- thinking naively that, "It cannot be happening - - people don't do those things to other people?"
Sure, the Gulenists are not killing people in the United States, instead they are fleecing the US taxpayers through their craftily designed charter school system and discriminatory- related actions.
Hold your elected representatives responsible -- make them investigate the Gulenists (whom have been declared a terrorist organization by the Republic of Turkey and accused of orchestrating the failed 2016 Turkish coup).
So continue to do nothing -- that's always easier than acknowledging the truth and actually having the integrity and courage to do something about it.
The ostrich's natural instinct is to bury it's head in the sand, what is our excuse?
“Few men are willing to brave the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality of those who seek to change a world which yields most painfully to change.”
