Gulenist brothers Nahit and Mustafa Emanet are apparently more concerned about perpetuating their collective lies than the truth which is that they deliberately and with malice, stole funds that did not legally belong to either of them, all in an attempt to defraud Mustafa Emanet's wife of court ordered spousal support, bills, retirement, and employment funds.
Nahit has recently written to a US Magistrate crying the blues about how he and his family had to move because of the repercussions of their actions, all in attempt to evoke some sort of sympathy from a US Court that both brothers have been thumbing their noses at since August 2018. Ironically, the brother that knowingly broke US laws is now complaining to the same US judge that issued courts orders that he and his brother are in contempt of.
Nahit denied that he had anything to do with any of the illegal actions or that he "Is a Gulenist." In fact, Nahit worked as an Assistant Professor for 9 years at Fatih University, a Gulenist University. His brother Mustafa, was an active member of the Gulen Movement when he came to the United States. Mustafa Emanet participated in films, newspaper, and television interviews admitting that he had been a member of the Gulen Movement. Those are facts -- pure and simple, and neither man can dispute it to the contrary.
Further, in his "woe is me," letter, Nahit Emanet falsely stated that he is being "blackmailed," by Emanet's wife when in fact, he had been consistently warned, not black-mailed, that if he and his brother do not return the funds that they stole, and his brother does not come current with court ordered spousal support and bills, that they will in fact face jail time. That is not blackmail, that is the United States' law. Nahit witnessed and signed for his brother Mustafa to illegally remove retirement funds and then had those funds wired to his (Nahit's) bank account in Turkey against US court orders, all evidence that is credible and available for the courts to review in both in the US and Turkey.
Further, in his letter to the Magistrate, Nahit falsely stated that he has loaned money to Emanet's wife and that she is living in Mustafa's house. He neglected to mention that for the first 9 years of their marriage, Mustafa Emanet lived in his wife's house (that she purchased with her inheritance funds), and that only at Mustafa's insistence, did his wife agree to sell her premarital home and that she -- not Mustafa or Nahit Emanet -- put all of the funds down on the new house, and that she -- not Emanet -- continues paying the monthly mortgage that Mustafa Emanet was court-ordered to pay and has not.
Nahit stated in his letter to the Magistrate that Emanet's wife owes him lots of money. At no time did Nahit Emanet ever pay Mustafa Emanet's wife one single penny and if he loaned money to anyone, it was to his brother Mustafa and without his wife's knowledge or consent.
Emanet whined about how his brother Mustafa is heavily in debt. In defiance of court orders, Mustafa took out a $48,000 auto loan and took out a 16 month lease on a luxury apartment, looted the marital funds, and then fled the country. It stands to reason if you defy court orders, quit your job, refuse to pay court ordered spousal support, that one will be left with a load of debt behind to deal with.
Nahit Emanet is involved in this because he -- Nahit Emanet, chose to insinuate himself in a matter that did not involve him. Nahit, not Mustafa, wrote to Mustafa's wife offering a "settlement," yet now he insists that he is being blackmailed by her. I guess he forgot the settlement offer that he offered because his coward brother willingly quit his job and fled to Turkey; an offer that had been submitted to the court as evidence of their actions.
Nahit and Belkis Emanet are currently in the process of obtaining US Permanent Residency (Green Cards) through their brother and his parents (who hold Green Cards), and in his letter to the Magistrate, Nahit stated that if Mustafa's wife believed their marriage was fraudulent, then she should have contacted the State Department. Nahit need not worry about that because Emanet's wife contacted the State Department about the fraud many months ago; requesting an investigation and revocation of all of the family's permanent residency status; including her husband's US Citizenship.
So while he cried the blues about being picked on, perhaps Nahit should have considered his actions before and not after he decided to encourage his family to conspire with Mustafa Emanet to defraud Mustafa's wife and leave her without support -- knowing that she was disabled and unemployed.
These two men are frauds, cowards, and liars -- typical traits of Gulenist behavior. For men that assert they are not involved with the Movement, they continue to act like true Gulenists in every aspect.
If the Emanet brothers believe that they can prove their case, why don't they show up in a US Court to defend it? Instead, they have fled to Turkey to hide the assets and avoid paying the court ordered support.
Maybe the brothers should stop running and do the right thing, instead of playing the victims that they clearly are not.
